Exactly these two views can be seen in a very well known film "Nosferatu the Vampyre"
("Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht") by Werner Herzog.
Part of the film which is taking place in Transylwania was in fact
realized in The White Water Valley. Here Jonathan Harker was trying to let
a horse in order to reach The Borgo Pass. The inn shown in the film was
the forester's lodge on the White Water Clearing. Behind the forest there
are Mlynarz and Zabi Szczyt Nizni peaks. On the next photo a famous
precipice called Mlynarczyk can be seen from very close. It was also shown in the film.
On the picture there are: Przeziorowa Turnia (1860 m), Nawiesista Turnia (1825 m)
and Mlynarczyk (1785 m). Characteristic rocky window in Przeziorowa Turnia
is to small to be seen on the photo.
Klaus Kinski created an outstanding part of Nosferatu.
Also starring were: Isabelle Adjani
(Lucy Harker), Bruno Ganz (Jonathan Harker) and Roland Topor (Reinfeld).
Fantastic music was composed and performed by Popol Vuh. (Werner Herzog, Klaus Kinski and Popol Vuh
are known also from another great films as: "Cobra Verde"
and "Aguirre, the Wrath of God").
Klaus Kinski (Nikolaus Gunther Nakszynski) was born on October 18th 1926 in Sopot.
He died of heart-attack on November 23rd 1991.
